About the Project

The Agusholli Dental Clinic in Pejë needed to do something most dental clinics fail at: make patients feel calm. Nobody enjoys going to the dentist, and the typical sterile white environment makes it worse. Our job was to create a space that is fully functional for medical work but feels more like a welcoming practice than a hospital.

The reception area sets the tone immediately – a warm onyx stone desk with soft LED lighting, comfortable seating, and colours that put people at ease. Treatment rooms use calming palettes with careful lighting design that supports clinical precision without the harsh fluorescent feel. Every material was chosen for both appearance and hygiene compliance.

Design Challenge

Dental clinics have strict hygiene and functional requirements that typically force a cold, clinical aesthetic. The challenge was creating warmth and calm while meeting every medical standard - and designing a workflow that keeps staff efficient.

Our Solution

We used warm natural materials and calming colours throughout, but selected only surfaces that meet antimicrobial standards. The layout separates patient flow from staff workflow, and the onyx reception desk acts as an immediate signal that this is not your typical clinic.
